mailbox Monday, 3

A meme by The Story Siren.

Well, it’s been a while since anything has showed up in my little ole box. I got a surprise this week, and added some to the list from splurge shopping. What did I get?

In the Company of Others by Julie E. Czerneda and The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula K. Le Guin (highly recommended by Grigg, of Jane Austen Book Club. 😉 and every SF fan on the planet, of course.)

In a  moment of splurge I purchased Into the Lion’s Heart by Beth Trissel (*waves* I couldn’t help myself, Beth. ;)), available from The Wild Rose Press.

and … imagine my surprise when my doorbell rang after dark the other day, and I find a UPS package on my doorstep containing This: Shirely Rousseu Murphy‘s Cat Telling Tales.Cat Telling Tales

According to amazon, it’s coming out November 22. It looks Christmas themed so…good, a month before the actual date, but what with the way my schedule is right now, I don’t know if I’ll have it reviewed by then.

I have no idea why it was sent to me, I guess someone at Harper Collins thought I’d be a good reviewer for it? I really have no memory of requesting anything lately, since I’ve stopped actively reviewing this year. But however it happened, to whomever sent it, thanks. I must say it looks adorable, and, you know, I’m reading more cozy mysteries these days. So we’ll see. What’d y’all get?
