Christmas reading–Gratitude snippet

Okay, a little something on a different day …only because I only started the story last night. So far, I’m liking it. What is it? It’s a little holiday fantasy romance entitled Gratitude by an author named Alex Kourvo.

Gratitude by Alex KourvoSnippet:

“What of the letters?” Jak said suddenly. “Letters reach us from the human world.”

I laughed. “Are you as small as a letter now, Jak? As thin as parchment? Besides, those letters come to our world, not from it. And do you have any idea where Klaus must cross the barrier each year? Where the veil is thinnest? A frozen wasteland in the far north!”

“Truly?” Jak asked. “Or is that just what he wants you to believe?”

Synopsis:

Five centuries ago, when the veil between worlds was thinner, a human named Klaus entered the elf world. Being ignorant of their ways, he accepted every gift offered, giving scant little in return. The elf king grew so angry at this that he cursed Klaus, making him practice constant generosity. Worse, he also cursed Klaus with immortality….

I did enjoy this short, sweet story and I encourage you to check it out.

If you’d like to try it out it’s available at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Itunes, and Kobo. Enjoy, and have a merry Christmas, everyone!
