A meme by Breaking the Spine.
There are a couple things whose release I’m looking forward to right now.
I’m waiting for
Not Your Ordinary Faerie Tale by Christine Warren. (Looks cute. That’s coming out November 1st according to Amazon)
And one which is already out but that I’ve not gotten yet:
His Mistress by Christmas by Victoria Alexander. (Which my friend Lois reviewed already here. It sounds cute. Available of course at Amazon)
and
Innocent Darkness by Suzanne Lazear (A steampunk fairy tale YA novel from Flux I think just sounds fabulous! :)) It’s not due out until August 2012, but I’m really looking forward to this one.
Book Summary (courtesy of Suzanne).
Innocent Darkness, Book 1, The Aether Chronicles– Flux, August 8, 2012
Wish. Love. Desire. Live.
In a Steampunk version of Victorian Los Angeles, sixteen-year-old Noli Braddock’s hoyden ways land her in an abusive reform school far from home. On mid-summer’s eve she wishes to be anyplace but that dreadful school. Her wish sends her tumbling into the Otherworld. A mysterious man from the Realm of Faerie rescues her, only to reveal that she must be sacrificed, otherwise, the entire Otherworld civilization will perish.
Sounds cool, huh? So what are you waiting on?
A steampunk fairy tale YA novel? Sounds good 🙂
